Peter - Photographer

Peter has worked as a photographer in Scotland for more than twenty years, and continually finds inspiration from the people and places.

Peter's belief is all about being in the right place, at the right time, and being prepared! A last minute phonecall at 5pm one day led to three hour drive, and a shoot at 8am the next, where the photograph "Windsurfer, Mull of Kintyre" was taken. It was voted Sports Action, First Prize by British Press Photographers' Association 2007 and Sports Picture of the Year, Scotrail Press Photography Awards 2006.

Peter's worklife has involved being a staff and freelance photgrapher, and Press Picture Editor, after training at Glasgow College of Building and Printing, and Sheffield.

Originally from Glasgow, Peter's favourite parts of Scotland include all the Islands, the rugged West Coast, and the dark skies of Dumfries and Galloway.
