Glyn - Photographer

Originally from Kent, Glyn has lived near Edinburgh and worked as a freelance throughout Scotland for the last 25 years. His heart is firmly rooted in the Scottish Highlands, and much of his best work has been inspired by the landscape and people there. He has an empathy with the land and an affinity with those who work on it, resulting in photographs which are both dramatic and eloquent. Although he produces most of his commercial assignments in colour, it was his striking and personal black and white images which first earned him a reputation, and it is a collection of these which we offer.

Glyn’s work has been exhibited throughout the UK, he has produced nine books to date, and the Scottish National Portrait Gallery own several of his images.

Prints are hand-made wet-darkroom prints, signed by the photographer. Image size is 13’x9” on 12”x16” paper. They are in snow-white mounts, presented in a polyester archival wallet, and ready to fit a 20”x16” frame.
