Here you will find a range of handmade books from Laura West who is a classically trained award winning bookbinder specialising in traditional and contemporary hand-sewn books. These Coptic style bindings are individually hand bound in Scotland from natural materials making each book unique. Laura owns and runs a Bindery in Skye, the home of traditional hand book binding in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Working to archival standards, the Bindery specialises in traditional and contemporary hand sewn book binding.
