Raku Deep Tea Light
by Patricia - Ceramicist
These tea lights will look stunning on the table, with their unusual colours and shapes. They are hand made (by coiling, pinching and pressing) and raku fired. Raku firing is a process which involves removing the pots from the kiln at 1000℃ and submerging them in sawdust to create the soft blacks and greys.
The Deep tea light has a glazed interior with copper lustre, which reflects light when lit. Height 7cm.
The Solid tea light has a rounded rim, and is unglazed. Diameter 12cm.
