Bowl in Scottish holly (cup shape) by Ruth - Wood turner - Isle of Arran
This holly bowl is turned from unseasoned timber. As it dries, changes in the tensions in the wood result in an asymmetric form. Each piece is unique, left matt to maintain ceramic like texture and appearance. Can be washed if marked.
This bowl is the one in the centre of the far left picture.
Approx 7.5cms height x 9-11cms diameter
Due to the tensions in the wood each piece is unique and therefore can never be reproduced exactly
